About

Sevenoaks Friendship Centre was founded in 1992 and has an excess of 50 members and looks forward to welcoming new members. We have a democratically appointed committee which include the chairman, secretary, treasurer and six others who are voted in at the Annual General Committee in September.

Our Meetings are on the first Thursday of every month at the Bat and Ball Centre when we have a guest speaker on interesting topics. The meeting actually starts at 2.30 p.m. but most members come by 2.15 p.m. for a chat with other members and to get information on up and coming activities.

Our activities include ten pin bowling, scrabble, canasta, short country walks, games afternoon, whist drive, theatre trips to regional theatres or more locally to The Stag Sevenoaks, or The Orchards Dartford, eating out for Sunday lunch or exotic evening meals and many other interesting activities, something for everyone. In July we celebrate our birthday with a full days outing by coach. Group holidays are also arranged.

The annual subscription is £20 which gives entry to the monthly meetings including tea/coffee and biscuits plus access to all our activities. Your first visit is FREE.

Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance which is kept flying by voluntary donations is our nominated charity. We raise money through coffee mornings, second hand book sales, whist drive and plant sales and regular raffles. We raise an average of £1000 a year.
